Accomplishments

 

Accomplishments for Our Officers

• Provided funding for retirement plaque for valued staff member Ruben Estrada after 20 years of service.

 

• Provided funding for volunteer CPAB members to refresh the NH Ready Room with new paint.

 

• Provided funding for 20 NH Division officers to compete in the prestigous and highly competitive Baker to Vegas Race.

 

• Funded lunch for LAPD Supervisor meeting held at NH Station

 

• Funded the range fees for all officers in the division as part of their annual testing and certifcation.

 

• Provided funding to refresh the NH Dept. cot room. This space is imprtant for officers working late shift andthen early shift, or appearing in court, and live far from the station.

 

• Presented First Quarter Officer Recognition event and welcomed FBI Director David Bowdich as our guest speaker.

 

 

Accomplishments for Our Jeopardy Program

• Provided funds for a pizza and ice cream social event for hard-working cadets. This also provides a chance for PALS Board to meet and engage within the Youth programs.

 

• Provided donated wireless router to help Youth be able to do homework and research online.

 

• Funded the refreshment of the Rick Crevier Memorial Garden with new seeds and soil for cadets and Jeopardy youth.

Accomplishments for Our Community

• Hosted a North Hollywood "Cease Fire" meeting to help stem the violoence assocaited with gang activity.

 

• PALS purchased new 50" Large screen TV so on-duty NH Division Watch Commander can easily see the exact lcoation of all deployed assets.

 

• Provided funding for North Hollywood Narcotic Team to attend a seminar for Law Enformcement helping to find, and deal with the rising problem of Meth labs in the SO CA region.

 

• Provided funding for CPAB name plates for their photos.

 

• Sponsored meeting between NH LAPD and Sunburst Youth Academy.

• Participated in the Cadet promotion ceremony on January, 20.
