WHO
ARE
WE?
Started in 1968, East Valley PALS — the Police Activity League Supporters, known locally as NoHo PALS — is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit booster organization for the North Hollywood Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Our all-volunteer board raises funds and provides direct financial support for the men and women who serve this community.
It often comes as a surprise to the average Angeleno how difficult it is for the City to pay for essential equipment, training, and special events. PALS bridges that gap.
SINCE 1968
HOW WE SUPPORT
LAPD NORTH HOLLYWOOD:
Equipment and Training
We fund equipment purchases and supplement training fees for officers at the North Hollywood Division: the tools and preparation the City budget doesn't reach.
Cadets and Youth Programs
We sustain LAPD-sponsored youth programs within the Division, with emphasis on the Cadet and Jeopardy programs that give North Hollywood teens mentorship, structure, and a path forward.
Community Policing
We serve as a communication conduit between the public and the LAPD, strengthening community policing across the East Valley.

Upcoming
Events
When you donate to PALS, our officers get access to enhanced training, essential supplies, and equipment not provided by the city. It also provides resources for our youth program, helping the next generation learn discipline, and community service.
