Promotion for Sergeant Chris Zine

PALS is proud to share in the excitement and give a shout of CONGRATS to our very own Sergeant Chris Zine who was promoted to the rank of Sergeant II just this week! We’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Sergeant Zine as the Officer in Charge of the CRO Unit (Community Relations Officers) and we know you’ll enjoy working with him as well! Sergeant Zine takes great pride in assisting the Community and is a valuable resource to us all. His other responsibilities include the oversight and leadership of the Cadet and Jeopardy Programs. Sergeant Zine has held a variety of positions within the Los Angeles Police Department including seven years as a Motor Officer within the South Traffic Division. He honed his Community Relations skills and experience during this time with involvement in several Community Traffic Safety Programs, a city-wide crime task force, and of course when working with the public as a Traffic Enforcement Officer. Sergeant Zine was transferred to the North Hollywood Division in 2012 and has held various positions until his more recent assignment to the CRO Unit. PALS is excited to work with Sergeant Zine and all of the Officers in CRO and we hope you will have an opportunity to meet him soon if you haven’t already. You will quickly see a level of commitment on his part to outstanding service to the Community with the tradition of unrivaled excellence at the Los Angeles Police Department.
